One Connected Platform

Business Payments Do Not Need to Be Spread Across Several Systems

Zeller is designed to connect payment acceptance, account activity, cards, invoices and expense management through a common online environment.

Many businesses use one provider for card payments, another for invoicing, a separate account for receiving funds and still more tools for employee expenses. This can make everyday financial administration unnecessarily fragmented.

Zeller offers UK businesses a broader ecosystem. Depending on eligibility and the products activated, a business can manage account activity, receive payments, issue invoices, create payment links and use physical or virtual cards from the same dashboard.

Businesses are not required to use every available product. A company can select the functions that match its own operations and retain other existing banking or payment relationships where appropriate.

A Particularly Useful Feature

Zeller’s card options can help keep business spending separate, provide quicker access to available funds and reduce dependence on one shared company card.

Virtual Debit Card

A virtual card can be created through the platform and used for eligible online payments or added to a supported mobile wallet.

Physical Debit Card

A physical card provides a familiar option for business purchases online and at locations that accept the relevant card network.

Expense Cards

Separate cards can support employee or team spending while allowing the administrator to retain visibility and control.

Spending Management

Controls, transaction information and attached receipts can make business expense administration easier to review.

UK Business Eligibility

Availability Depends on the Business and Product

Zeller UK is designed for eligible UK businesses. A UK-registered company may be able to apply even when its owners or directors have an international background, but approval should never be assumed.

Zeller may request information about the company, directors, beneficial owners, business activities, expected payments and the intended use of its services. Individual products may also have separate operational or delivery requirements.

In particular, the physical Zeller Terminal is intended for in-person payment acceptance within its supported UK environment. Businesses operating remotely may instead find the account, card, invoicing, payment-link or Virtual Terminal functions more relevant, subject to approval.

Frequently Asked Questions

Zeller Business Account and Debit Card FAQ

Practical answers about account features, debit cards, UK business eligibility, international use and the BR Economy referral link.

Is Zeller Business Account a bank account?

No. Zeller Business Account is an electronic money account rather than a traditional bank account. It provides UK account details and can be used to receive, hold, transfer and spend eligible business funds.

Funds are safeguarded according to the regulatory requirements applicable to Zeller, but the account is not covered by the UK Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Does Zeller provide physical and virtual debit cards?

Yes. Eligible Zeller Business Account customers can choose between a physical business debit card and a virtual debit card.

A virtual card can be created through the online account for eligible online purchases and supported mobile-wallet payments. A physical card can be ordered for everyday business spending, subject to Zeller’s current delivery and account conditions.

Can the Zeller Debit Card be used outside the United Kingdom?

Zeller states that its debit and expense cards can be used internationally where the relevant card network is accepted.

Businesses should review current foreign-transaction conditions, exchange rates, prohibited transactions and card limits before using the card abroad.

Can an internationally based director apply for Zeller?

Zeller currently supports legitimate businesses within the United Kingdom. An internationally based owner or director should not assume that registration of a UK company alone guarantees approval.

Zeller may review the company’s UK operations, business address, directors, beneficial owners, mobile number, business activity, expected transactions and intended use of the products.

Final eligibility is determined by Zeller during onboarding.

Do I need a physical Zeller Terminal to use the other services?

Zeller offers several products in addition to its physical terminal, including Business Account, debit cards, invoices, Virtual Terminal, payment links and expense cards.

The availability of each service depends on account approval and current product conditions. A business may not need every Zeller product, but the physical terminal is specifically intended for businesses accepting in-person payments within the supported UK environment.

How does the BR Economy Zeller referral link work?

A new eligible business must begin its application through the BR Economy referral link so the referral can be tracked by Zeller.

Under Zeller’s current UK referral terms, both the referring customer and the eligible referred business may receive a £100 reward after the new business:

  • Completes activation as a new Zeller customer
  • Uses the tracked referral link
  • Accepts its first £500 of eligible card payments
  • Meets the requirement within the stated qualifying period

Qualifying payments may currently be accepted through specified Zeller payment products. Referral requirements, qualifying periods and rewards can change, so Zeller’s current referral terms should always be checked before applying.
